The mission of the Culver & Lake Maxinkuckee Visitor Center is to serve as an engaging resource for the public in one of Indiana’s most beautiful, natural lake destinations; to stimulate economic growth, and to promote recreational and cultural experiences.
The Culver and Lake Maxinkuckee Visitor Center opened in June, 2014, in downtown Culver, under the leadership of its board of directors:
Mary Kunkle, Chair; Chad Van Herk, Treasurer; Dana Damore, Susan Beggs, Rich West, Tucker Anderson, Lindsey Pick, and Ben Nowalk. Becca Pazin serves as the Visitor Center’s Executive Director.
The board wishes to thank the Marshall County Visitor Center, Marshall County Community Foundation, Culver Academies, Union Township, the Town of Culver, the Pilot News-Culver Citizen, Mark Damore Jr., and Jeff Johnston, for their support -financial, in-kind, or both — in making this Center a reality.
