The system is simple and direct: Young people learn important habits for life when the challenge is high, the routine is clear, and accountability is required. Founded in 1894, the tradition of 121 years, and a commitment to student leadership, Culver provides an experience unlike any other in private secondary school education.

Culver admits students capable of pursuing a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum while becoming responsible citizens and leaders. Candidates are selected for their potential to meet Culver’s high academic standards and to contribute to Culver’s nationally-recognized leadership and extracurricular programs. The diverse student body includes representatives from 24 countries, 39 states, and the District of Columbia.

Culver’s Summer Schools and Camps program was founded in 1902. Bringing 1,400 young people ages 7-17 to the area each summer, from 39 states and 41 countries. Among its many programs the summer equestrian program takes advantage of its world-class modernized stables and 94 horses. The summer program also features the largest boat on Indiana’s inland waters, a 54-foot, three masted square rigger, something to see when visiting.  For more information visit
